Nonprofit Partners
At The Village Workspace, social responsibility is woven into the fabric of our community — not treated as a separate initiative or afterthought. We believe that businesses thrive when the communities around them thrive, and we actively use our platform, space, and relationships to amplify organizations doing meaningful work in the world.
We regularly support and partner with nonprofits and advocacy organizations across several cause areas that are deeply important to our community:
Human Trafficking Awareness & Prevention — We proudly stand alongside Freedom58 and Re-Fined in their fight against human trafficking. Whether through hosting awareness events, providing meeting space, or amplifying their missions to our member community, we are committed to using our platform to shine a light on this critical issue.
Supporting Children in the Foster Care System — We partner with Elevating Connections, an organization dedicated to improving outcomes for children navigating the foster care system. Every child deserves stability, connection, and opportunity — and we are honored to support an organization working tirelessly to make that a reality.
Mental Health Advocacy — Mental health is central to everything we do at Village Workspace. Our work-and-wellness model exists because we believe that how people feel directly impacts how they work and live. We actively support Make Mental Health Matter, and YANA Mom-2-Mom, organizations that are breaking stigmas, building support networks, and helping people access the care and community they need.
Helping those Behind Bars— Unbound Authors was founded in 2023 by Dr. Libby Catchings and JoyBelle Phelan, a formerly incarcerated leader dedicated to storytelling, education, and second chances. What began as a volunteer-led writing group inside a single facility has grown into a statewide writing and publishing initiative reaching incarcerated writers across all Colorado correctional facilities.
Beyond financial and in-kind support, our most meaningful contribution may be the space itself. Village Workspace serves as a gathering place for many of these organizations — hosting events, fundraisers, awareness campaigns, and community conversations that extend their reach and deepen their impact. We believe a workspace can be more than a place to work; it can be a force for good in the community it serves.
We want to raise the awareness of a few of them here:

Yana Moms
Our mission is to change the world one mama at a time – ensuring that no mom ever feels alone.
We believe All moms deserve to feel safe, accepted, and valued. Our programs strive to give all moms in our community the support they need.
Freedom 58
Our mission is to raise awareness, provide education, and mobilize support to confront the greatest tragedy of our time… human trafficking and slavery.
Founded in 2009 by Bob and Libby Swenson, Freedom 58 uses art in the form of painted portraits to celebrate the lives and stories of human trafficking survivors—recognizing their dignity, honor, and beauty—and to provide crucial education to illuminate the reality of modern-day slavery.
Make Mental Health Matter
Mental health challenges and suicide do not discriminate. They affect everyone regardless of borders, color, race, gender, or status.
We're grateful for our volunteers, supporters, monthly donors, Warriors for Mental Health, and individuals like you who are reading this. Your support is crucial in our mission.
Elevating Connections
Elevating Connections thrives, thanks to the efforts of our incredible volunteers, supporters, and partners.
Non-Profits Aligning with Our Values
These causes are not simply charitable obligations — they are a natural extension of who we are. Each organization we support reflects values that were present in The Village Workspace from the very beginning: a belief in human dignity, a commitment to mental and emotional wellness, and a conviction that community is one of the most powerful forces for healing and change.
These causes are deeply personal to our team. But what makes our commitment to them so meaningful is that they resonate just as deeply with the community we have built. Our members, wellness practitioners, and therapists don’t just tolerate this values-driven approach — they are drawn to it. Many chose The Village Workspace precisely because they sensed that this was a place that stood for something beyond square footage and Wi-Fi.

There is also a natural and authentic alignment between the organizations we support and the work happening inside our walls every day. When a therapist who works down the hall is also a passionate advocate for mental health awareness, or when a wellness practitioner attends a fundraiser we are hosting for one of our partner nonprofits, the line between workspace and community disappears — and something much more powerful takes its place.
We undertake these activities because we believe business can and should be a force for good. And because The Village Workspace community has shown us, time and again, that people want to be part of something that matters.
When we invested in building a community rooted in belonging, wellness, and genuine human connection, we were not making a charitable sacrifice. We were making a business decision — one that has driven member retention, organic growth, and a reputation in the South Denver community that no paid advertising budget could have purchased. Our members stay an average of 24 months not because they are locked into contracts, but because they don’t want to leave. That is both a social outcome and an economic one.
At The Village Workspace, the practical formula has been straightforward: lead with values, curate intentionally, and let the community build itself. When you create a space where a therapist, a software developer, a nonprofit director, and a wellness coach all feel equally at home, something remarkable happens — they begin referring to each other, supporting each other’s work, and collectively raising the value of the community for everyone in it. The social fabric and the economic ecosystem become one and the same.
