ABOUT US

The Village Workspace was founded by the Mother-Daughter Schreck team – Gina, Taylor, and Bailey. Choosing the perfect time in history to open a space to GATHER & BUILD COMMUNITY… March 2, 2020! 11 days later the world shut down as COVID-19 ravaged our planet and our businesses.

This did not stop us on our mission to build a community where people were encouraged, supported, celebrated and where they felt they belonged. Community is exactly what people needed at that time and slowly The Village Workspace grew that year and by 2021 we were bursting at the seams, needing to expand but not having any available space to do so.

After the tenant that occupied the other three quarters of the building decided not to return to work, we set out to expand and add more offices, more meeting space, and to incorporate beauty and wellness studios as well as an event center for large meetings, conferences, and celebrations!

The Village continues to win awards and be voted as one of the best coworking spaces in the Denver area. The Village won TOP COWORKING space by the Best of Mile High in 2026, and was recognized as one of COLORADO’S FAST 50 by Denver Business Journal in Sept 2026.

Gina Schreck is an author, speaker, and CEO at The Village Work, Wellness, & Event Center. She is a wife and mother of 4, investor and philanthropist. The Denver Business Journal named Gina one of the Outstanding Women in Business in 2026, LinkedIn selected Gina as one of the top 24 B2B marketers to follow in 2021 and in 2023, Fox News selected Gina as one of the top 4 Remarkable Women in Colorado.

Gina left her corporate job in 1995 and never looked back, and at age 60 she says she is just getting started. Helping others take their dreams off the back burner and overcome the fear to go bigger is her mission today. Find Gina on most social media sites @GinaSchreck.

While Taylor and Bailey have since gone on to do other BIG things such as raise families, get a general contractor license, and explore other ventures, the dynamic team here has grown.

Julie Beichler joined the Village team in 2021 after spending her career in Human Resources in Colorado and Kentucky. Her expertise combined with her southern hospitality help her take care of every person that walks in the door.

Kathia Varela is our Community Manager and keeps everything running on our Workspace side of the house with her enthusiastic sense of hospitality and creative problem solving!

Meg Warren manages our events and wellness community! She came to us with a background in hospitality and coworking and is our high energy solutions queen!

Maria is the saint that helps to keep The Village looking its best and have been with us since June 2023.

Rachel Siler helps at both front desks to greet and help people navigate this large space.

Karie Watts helps us iwth our Virtual Mailbox members and the occasional event space set up.

Many will tell you about this magical place–where connections and new friends are made, where support and encouragement are found every day around every corner, and they are correct. The Village Work, Wellness, and Event Center is like no other workspace or shared office space around. Come to our Centennial campus and see for yourself.
